[OS X TeX] xelatex documents with English and Arabic

Has anyone been able to use xelatex to render documents that include 
Arabic and English?

The xelatex example did not address a similar issue.

I was able to do an Arabic-only document by selecting an Arabic font 
and providing the proper Unicode text, but what about mixing?

I asked on the xetex list (xelatex example for Arabic and English, 21 
May 2004 14:28:35 GMT+03:00).
