Hi folks,

here is some VERY IMPORTANT points you should remember about the use of 
pdfsync.sty latex package, and its plain and context versions.

This package cannot work without using TeX "whatsit" nodes, and 
"whatsit" nodes can influence the layout. So only use pdfsync in the 
document preparation stage.

There are  options to disable some patches: the noextra option is one 
of them.
If you find something not properly working, due to the 
\usepackage{pdfsync}
try to change the order of load, or \usepackage[noextra]{pdfsync}
