[OS X TeX] To bug or not to bug

Here's another weirdness:

If you're editing a .bib file, you cannot use move a chunk of text by 
mouse dragging.

If you have a split screen, you cannot move a chunk of text from one 
pane to the other by mouse dragging.

Which forces one to go Cmd-C Cmd-X Cmd-V.
