[OS X TeX] Babel, Greek, and a fouled up Table of Contents

J'ai le même problème mais pire (same but worst).
Dans le cadre de mon style, j'ai :
\RequirePackage[english,polutonikogreek,francais]{babel}
mais mon texte revenait systématiquement au grec, comme pour Daryl, en 
de _nombreuses_ circonstances. J'ai ajouté à mon style :

\newcommand{\grec}[1]{\selectlanguage{polutonikogreek}%
#1\selectlanguage{francais}}

\let\footnoteorig\footnote
\renewcommand{\footnote}[1]{%
	\footnoteorig{#1}\selectlanguage{francais}%
}

mais, quand j'utilise la commande \grec dans un environnement itemize, 
le grec revient encore à la fin de celui-ci et je suis contraint 
d'écrire systématiquement :

\end{itemize}\selectlanguage{francais}

C'est énervant (boring) !
