Assuming you have teTeX installed in the default location via i- 
installer, the following link gives you some basic documentation and  
links to the docs already on your system:

file:///usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/doc/index.html

It's pretty useful; I have it on my bookmarks bar in Safari.
