Happy Ralph!

I'm surprised Gerben's iBook, with higher clock frequency than my
PowerBook, runs actually slower. Could it be caused by other
concurrent processes? Or by the amount of RAM (mine has been upgraded
to 1GB)? Or the rest of the hardware (caches etc.)?

Tomorrow morning at work I'll check on my 400MHz G4 PowerMac 10.4.2.

By the way, after creating the script by pasting from Mail to
TextEdit, I got first 9 lines of:

./tex-perf: line 5: ?: command not found

It's only after removing the space at the beginning of line 5 (before
fmtutil), and re-entering space manually, that the script accepted to
run. I imagine an encoding problem, or invisible UTF-8 characters
when pasting from Mail, caused this.
