[OS X TeX] Please test this: (Modified by Gerben Wierda)

Here is my result

G5 at 2.5GHz (CPU settings automatic, 2.87GB free memory, 10.4.2) 12.78  
real         9.26 user         3.23 sys

I used the command

sudo time  /Users/claus/Library/Flashmode/bin/tex-perf
