structure "typefaces" which needs to be fed by some user supplied data 
to make the script understand that this object is a font ...

I am no Python guy, it's just an opinion about an error with a key and 
a data structure about font properties which looks as if being accessed 
with a key (prefix, vendor, typeface, and more). Look at line #55ff!
