[OS X TeX] What does the j stand for?

Howdy,

There are some .fd files, etc., with the TUG Lucida Bright fonts with  
the designation hlhj in them. I think the first h = Bigelow & Holmes  
(the designers), the lh is the designator for Lucida Bright (although  
I'm not ssure what the h is for) but what is the j for? I know  
r=roman, i=italic, etc.
