[OS X TeX] status of Spotlight indexing of .tex files?

I thought about these too but rejected them. What useful kind of  
material would get indexed within those files? There already exists a  
DVI importer and that, along with one for .tex and the existing .pdf  
importers, would index the information from the documentation files  
which, I believe, is more what one might be hoping for. By the way,  
doing

sudo mdimport -f /usr/local/teTeX

should index all the documentation and get the file names for the  
rest from gwTeX; very handy! If you don't like the Terminal get  
SpotlightIndexer and make sure to check the Force indexing option in  
Preferences.
