It cares only a bit, one bit. If you supply names with upper case
letters then these ones are saved in the inode (the file systems
descriptor for an entry, i.e. a file or directory or special subtlety).
But you can access this item later using the once given style -- or any
other. ls -l /usr/local/TETEX would work too, as TEtex, as ... you can
imagine the other seven styles!
