[OS X TeX] OT? advice for a windows-using friend

The most TeXshop-like UI on Windows is probably Bakoma TeX w/ it's 
integrated editor (Centaur) and preview.

I should probably give it another try...

There's a new editor which looks quite interesting though, especially 
for new users on a budget:
