[OS X TeX] Getting Finder to Refresh

Howdy,

I've got a folder with some file called 'test' on my Desktop. When I try to
run

tell application "Finder"
    set theWindow to "/Users/username/Desktop/test" as POSIX file
    update theWindow
end tell

I get an error in Script Editor and the 'update theWindow' line is
highlighted.
