As an alternative to BBEdit's "Find Differences..." menu item, you have
the FileMerge application
(/Developer/Applications/Utilities/FileMerge.app, also available in the
Finder as a Service) included on Apple's XCode or Developer Tools CD.
XCode can be downloaded for free from the ADC site (free registration
required); it's a 372.4 MB download.

In my experience, though, FileMerge appears less reliable than BBEdit's
"Find Differences...": an interface a bit less intuitive, and sometimes
FileMerge highlights big chunks of text as differing from each other,
whereas BBEdit is able to indicate precisely the small bits that are
different.
