[OS X TeX] [ANN] Enhanced Carbon Emacs release candidate

I don't understand this. Emacs as it is in CVS with AUCTeX installed can do
this already. So what is this plugin? Is it a new elisp `package', or is it
a user-friendly installer for AUCTeX in en Emacs.app's site-lisp directory,
or something else?
