[OS X TeX] Tiger Change All Open With

An update.

Some googling found this thread at macosxhints. It seems the problem  
is caused by something wrong with LaunchServices.

The application X-Ray solved my problem by doing what Get Info in the  
Finder could not. My .tex files are now correctly associated with  
TeXShop.
