It sure does not look as if it were for the faint of heart.

Has anyone tried Metagraf? It looks a bit LyX like. But it doesn't look 
like it runs on OS X.

The other thing is that none of what I have seen, during an admittedly 
brief Google, seemed capable of producing pdf.
