[OS X TeX] italics with TeXShop

           Hello all,

   TeXShop has a nice feature : if you write some
italicized sentence then that sentence will automatically
get italicized in the source file also.

 ( a non-WYSIWYG editor is nice, but a non-WISYWIG one
striving to make the source file resemble the final output
is even better ... )

  However, this feature sometimes disappears ( typically
if you do not write things in the usual order in the source
file, for example if you are translating a non-LaTex text into
LaTeX).
  Is there a way to enforce this feature ?
