[OS X TeX] Adding packages in LaTeX equation editors?

I just won't ignore this message: the archives need an answer too.

Make sure you use version 0.3 or later of TeXType, earlier version  
didn't handle changes to the template very well. The template in  
TeXType can be changed in the application's preferences.
