Hello gang,
I had to replace my hard drive earlier this year. Since then, the
following sample file stopped working properly (Hebrew characters are
not in output):
<code>
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{ucs} % Unicode
\usepackage[utf8x]{inputenc} % Input in Unicode
\usepackage[hebrew,english]{babel} % Hebrew
\begin{document}
Hebrew\dotfill
\R{עברית}
\end{document}
</code>
The following is the error message:
<log>

I have tried a *clean* install of the entire TeX distribution, but this
hasn't helped. Additionally, Finder.app does not find ``jerus'' and
typing ``locate jerus'' under Terminal.app returns:
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/tex4ht/ht-fonts/iso8859/8/hebrew/
jerus.htf
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/tex4ht/ht-fonts/unicode/hebrew/
jerus.htf
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Ben
