As Alan Litchfield just mentioned, most people find Gerben Wierda's  
TeX distribution for Mac OS X to be the easiest to install and most  
complete. He has some for nice additions to the TeXLive and teTeX  
distributions. You can find his i-Installer at:

The front end that many people like (there are other good ones) is
