longtable is part of David Carlisle's tools. Install longtable.sty in 
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/tex/latex/tools, the DVI file in the 
corresponding doc directory.

It's worth to add ragged2e too 
(/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/{tex,doc}/latex/ms).

Both packages seem to be part of a recent teTeX 3 -- at least I have 
them in my *EXPERIMENTAL* TeX i-Package.
