[OS X TeX] "Texify"?

I want to make sure I understand this. So, in TeXShop's "Engine"  
prefs, I should change the settings for "TeX + dvips + distiller" from:

altpdflatex --maxpfb

to:

simpdftex latex

What about:

altpdftex --maxpfb

should that be changed?
