Well, as for me, I don't know Prosper or Powerdot at all, and I don't  
use pstricks, but the documentation of Beamer mentions only that  
"pstricks does not work with pdflatex", not that pstricks does not  
work with Beamer. As Beamer works quite well with latex+dvips, maybe  
you should give it a try...------------------------- Info --------------------------
