[OS X TeX] pdf instead of dvi on intelmac (resolved)

Sorry for bothering you, but this is a misconfiguration on my side:

It is triggered by an old test

\ifx\pdfoutput\undefined
   <not running PDFTeX>
\else
   <running PDFTeX>
\fi

which does no longer work with the latest tex distribution by Gerben.

(I did upgrade my ppc macs to the latest tex to make sure this is not
version related, but happened to test with the "wrong" tex file;-(
