[OS X TeX] TeXShop Find/Replace using regexp

To reply to my own question, I just found out that it works the Emacs- 
like way when selecting "GNU regexp" in the Options panel, i.e. when  
using
(")([a-zA-Z]) -> “\2
"blabla becomes “blabla
Sorry, I should have tried more before posting...
