Yes, of course! Only, this stops when it comes to installing extra  
packages. They mostly have a read me file that explains a few things  
vaguely, and that's it. Because there are still some installations on  
Atari, Amiga ... without kpse* utilities?



Without vi there is only GNU Emacs
