# [OS X TeX] labels for page numbers

Why, \pageref does just that.

\label{greenmoon}
If the moon is green,
it is made out of cheese.
\end{theorem}

\begin{proof}
As the moon is not green,
the conclusion follows.
\end{proof}

...

It is now time to use the celebrated
Green Moon Theorem, stated back
on page \pageref{greenmoon}.
