Have to disagree strongly. Being able to duplicate one of the
features of TeXShop in vi is of interest to at least some of the
'rest of us'.
And why shouldn't the OP be happy that he is able to sue his tool of
choice rather than being constrained into something he doesn't like
as well?
I felt much the same way when i finally got all the bits and pieces
so I could use BBEdit instead of TeXShop myself.
