[OS X TeX] texshop and simpdftex ??

Hello

I've some problem with opacity and latex, with pdflatex all is correct.

The problem is by default, simpdftex uses ps2pdf13 and opacity needs  
ps2pdf14.

If i make the change in simpdftex all it's correct but i don't  
understand why
  it's impossible to put an option in texshop like

simpdftex latex --maxpfb --distiller=ps2pdf14 ( that's what the "man"  
says in simpdftex --help)

or simpdftex latex --maxpfb --distiller=/usr/local/bin/ps2pdf14 but  
dy default
  the path is /usr/local/bin/

Where is the problem or where is my mistake ?
