He he he. Actually I use i-Installer in "Open Updated Packages" mode
and guess what? It never said: Hey this package is deprecated. That
package doesn't exist any more.
So since nothing I was using was borken, why would I fix it?
I'm intensely interested in producing certain documents, not in
mucking around with my tools.
Would you rather drive or wrench? Me, I'd rather drive by a long long
long shot. Been a sysadmin and packaging guru (years ago) and am
perfectly happy to let someone else take care of that.
I'm sad that Gerben is dropping support for i-Installer, but I
completely understand his desire to use instead of support TeX.
