[OS X TeX] how to use BibTeX with TeXshop ?

BibDesk is a graphical front-end for Bibtex and you do not need it to  
run bibtex.  In texshop, typeset your latex document.  Then, toggle  
the menu just next to the typset button on your source window to  
bibtex (or access the typeset window).  Then 'typeset' again (this  
runs bibtex).  Switch the typset mode back to latex and you are done.
