[OS X TeX] How to change temporarily to landscape format ?

Dear all,
I am new to this list and also new to TeXshop and Latex which I am  
learning right now.
There is a question I cannot solve neither with Leslie Lamport's book  
nor Oetikers 'Not so Short Introduction to Latex 2e':

I want to print some tables in landscape format within my
\documentclass[10pt,a4paper,notitlepage,oneside,openany]{article}
and return to portrait format after these pages.

How can I change the format temporarily ?
