[OS X TeX] Problems with TexShop 10.4.5?

I don't why this happens, but sometimes I get problems with a TeX  
file if I paste text from a non-TeX source such as Word, Safari,  
TextEdit or Text Wrangler, as examples. Could this have something to  
do with encoding? I have not no problems at all with TeXShop and 10.4.5.
