I would have thought Back and Forward to work exactly as in a web
browser: to reach the latest backwards- or forwards-visited page in
the Preview window. Only that the shortcuts are Cmd-( and Cmd-) in
Safari, and Cmd-[ and Cmd-] in TeXShop (in the French localizations).
Oh well!
