Well, if you use pstricks, the easiest way is to compose your  
document with "TeX+Ghostscript" instead of pdfLaTeX!

If you still want to use pdfLaTeX, then you may choose between  
Newpdftricks (better than pdftricks) or pst-pdf (which has replaced  
ps4pdf), to produce your pictures.
