Intaglio satisfies all my drawing demands but these are not very high. 
And it does have nice features. It is scriptable and comes with scripts, 
e.g. editing size of arrowheads. But one feature that is most important 
to me is that it
can Save in one format (e.g. svg) in that format's folder and Save A 
Copy in another format (e.g. cropped pdf) in that other format's folder 
and remember all. I use this a lot: one for editability and the other 
for \includegraphics.
