[OS X TeX] brackets in \aligned

WHY DONT YOU USE:
\begin{eqnarray}
	x & = & 3y +7z^{2} \\
	y & = & 3x -z^{3}	\\
	z & = & (1-e)y + z^{-2}
\end{eqnarray}
		Put the star(*) in to skip no's.
