Howdy,
I'd suggest a visit to <http://www.esm.psu.edu/mac-tex/> as a start
and introduction to what is available. You can also go to <http://
www.tug.org/mactex/> for links to an easy-installer (MacTeX.dmg but
get it from the CTAN link) package that should get you a complete
system.
