[OS X TeX] Dots in file names

Dear André,

Use hyphens as separators and be done with it. I am using this method  
for years and never had a problem, though I have to admit that it  
never occurred to me to start a name with a hyphen.

There are so many beautiful problems out there to solve and also  
others to worry about that you should save your time and energy for  
the important stuff.
