Hi,

A couple of days ago I upgraded to the new LaTeX distribution using
Gerben's i-Installer. Coincidentally (?) TeXniscope cannot display
the DVI document generated from a LaTeX source, whereas it could
before the upgrade. The following error shows up in the console.log:

2006-05-02 21:26:40.986 TeXniscope[390] 0.000000 280.500000

The funny thing is that if I take the DVI file and run dvipdfm
manually on it, I get no errors and TeXniscope can display the
resulting PDF file.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I don't even understand
the error in the above output.

Thanks in advance, José
