[OS X TeX] TeXniscope problems after LaTeX upgrade

It seems to be a problem with the "color" package.  Here is a minimal
example which shows the problem:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage[dvipdfm]{color}
\begin{document}
Hello world!
\end{document}
