[OS X TeX] i-Installer TeX installation on Intel

I am happy to report that I successfully uninstalled the LaTeX update.

Trying to typeset my book on LaTeX, the updated LaTeX would not  
typeset a large number of verbatim environments and wanted to include  
a $ sign after hundreds of EOL characters.

Now everything is back to normal.

This also justifies Gerden's approach. To uninstall would otherwise  
be much more difficult. How would the uninstaller know what did I  
upgrade?
