Apparently, the standard Linux system for reading the documentation
of TeX and related programs, utilities, packages, etc.

Try for example, in Terminal:

	texdoc TETEXDOC
	texdoc amsfndoc

There seems, however, to be two problems:

- Using texdoc requires a trip to the Terminal, which many users of
TeX on the Mac (including me) will prefer to avoid whenever possible.

- The documentation of TeX and its relatives does not follow any
logical naming scheme (see the above examples).

Apparently, again, that's why a derivative texdoctk is born, (i)
providing a GUI to texdoc and (ii) using a dedicated database to
relate each TeX relative to a list of keywords and to the name of its
doc. Unfortunately, it seems the installation of a special Perl
module is required, which isn't installed by default.
