[OS X TeX] workaround for the lack of color stack in pdftex?

Oops: the only solution I'm aware of _is_ pdfcolmk. I would suggest  
asking in comp.text.tex, (I presume you searched there already) to  
see if the change to the page layout is known (or some interaction  
with another package), and if there is a workaround.
