[OS X TeX] changing textwidth within the document

Thanks for the two replies to my question.

I am wondering, if there still is a "cleaner" solution to achieve the 
different textwidth in the document. The meman I quoted before seems 
to imply that there is a way to define the printing block for one 
chapter only... What could that way be?
