[OS X TeX] Sideways

Thanks. It turns out that it works for med too after making a pdf
file, but not in the dvi file. The shell complains thus:

khadija $Warning: 
    Name: statusline
    Class: XmTextField
    Character '\40' not supported in font.  Discarded.
