[OS X TeX] Re: End of i-Installer

TeXlive offers an overview and installation guide which can be  
downloaded as a pdf file and from which can be learnt that the  
binaries will be automatically installed according the architecture.

The texconfig script is also straightforward

texconfig paper a4(letter)

I don't see any major hurdles.
