This is not entirely tru. I have announced the end of support, not the 
end of updates, I'll update if I need the updates *myself*. it is not 
much work to publish the updates. And for instance the ConTeXt package 
is updated automatically without my personal intervention, so I suspect 
that this will be updated as long as Hans does not radiclaly change his 
publication mechanism.
