rsfs.map has disappeared. Everything else is present (pfb's, tfm's,  
metafont
source, mathrsfs.sty). Adding it (in fonts/maps/dvips/rsfs/) from  
another
distribution and rerunning the configure stage enabled the postscript  
fonts for
pdflatex.
